TechDecipher

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TechDecipher handles information when you use the TechDecipher website, including staging versions of the website, and the AI Prompt Studio Android application. By using these services, you acknowledge the practices described below.

1. Who we are

TechDecipher publishes technology content, tools, services, and applications. Our primary website is https://techdecipher.com/. Questions about this policy or AI Prompt Studio can be sent to contact@techdecipher.com.

2. Information handled by the TechDecipher website

Comments and messages

When visitors leave comments, contact us, or subscribe to updates, we may receive the information entered in the relevant form. For comments, this can include the comment, name, email address, website address, IP address, and browser user-agent information used for moderation and spam detection. An anonymized hash of an email address may be provided to Gravatar; see the Automattic Privacy Policy.

Media

If you upload an image to the website, avoid including embedded location information such as EXIF GPS data. Website visitors may be able to download an image and extract data embedded in it.

Cookies

The website may use cookies for comment preferences, login sessions, display choices, security, analytics, advertising, and other site functions. Comment-preference cookies may last for up to one year. Login and administration cookies have different lifetimes and are removed or expire according to WordPress settings.

Analytics and advertising

TechDecipher may use services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense on the website. Depending on configuration and consent choices, these services may use cookies or similar identifiers and process information about visits, sessions, approximate location, browser or device type, and interactions with pages or advertisements. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites and apps.

Embedded and external content

Articles may include videos, images, widgets, or other content from third-party websites. That content can behave as if you visited the third-party website directly and may collect data, set cookies, or track interactions according to the third party’s own policy.

Website QR code generator

When you use the QR Code Generator on the Tools page, the text or URL you enter is sent to QuickChart so the QR image can be generated. The value is included in the request sent to QuickChart and is processed under the QuickChart Privacy Policy.

3. AI Prompt Studio

No account is required

AI Prompt Studio does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use its prompt-template features.

Information stored on your device

The app stores favourites, recently used template identifiers, cached templates, and generated prompts that you choose to save, including any custom title and prompt text. This information is stored locally on your Android device using app storage. In the current release, TechDecipher does not upload the text of your saved or generated prompts to Cloud Firestore or TechDecipher servers.

You can remove saved items using the app’s controls. Uninstalling the app normally removes its local app data, although Android backup or restore features may preserve or restore some app data depending on your device and Google account settings.

Template library and Firebase Cloud Firestore

The app uses Firebase Cloud Firestore to download and update prompt templates and categories. Internet access is required for the initial template download and later library updates. Cached templates remain available offline. Firestore is used for the shared template library; the current app does not use Firebase Authentication and does not store user accounts.

Firebase Analytics

The app includes Google Analytics for Firebase to understand basic app usage and improve reliability and design. The default implementation may collect or derive information such as an app-instance identifier, number of users and sessions, session duration, app launches and updates, operating system, device model, app version, and approximate geography. We do not intentionally send the text of prompts, saved-prompt titles, names, email addresses, or other direct contact information to Analytics.

Google explains the default Firebase Analytics data collection in its Firebase data-collection documentation. Firebase services are also governed by Google’s applicable terms and Privacy Policy.

Clipboard and sharing

When you select Copy, the generated prompt is placed on your device clipboard. Android and other apps may access clipboard content subject to operating-system rules and your device settings. When you select Share, the app opens Android’s sharing interface and sends the selected prompt only to the app or service you choose. The receiving service’s privacy policy then applies.

App permissions

The current release requests internet and network-state access for template downloads, library updates, and Firebase services. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, or personal media library.

Sponsored and external links

AI Prompt Studio may include clearly identified external or sponsored links. Opening one takes you to a third-party website, app store, or service that operates under its own privacy policy and terms. TechDecipher may receive compensation from some sponsored or affiliate links, without changing the price you pay. Do not provide personal information to an external service before reviewing its policy.

4. When information may be shared

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the website or app, including Google Firebase and Google Analytics. Website comments may be checked by an automated spam-detection service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or TechDecipher, or as part of a business transfer. When you deliberately share a prompt with another app, that transfer is directed by you.

TechDecipher does not sell the contents of prompts saved locally in AI Prompt Studio.

5. Retention

Website comments and related moderation metadata may be retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized. Subscriber, contact, or account information is retained for as long as needed to provide the requested service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain security.

AI Prompt Studio’s local saved data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app, subject to Android backup and restore behavior. Analytics information is retained according to the Firebase/Google Analytics configuration and Google’s applicable policies.

6. Your choices and rights

  • You can delete locally saved app items using available app controls or clear/uninstall the app through Android settings.
  • You can choose not to copy or share generated prompts and can manage clipboard content through your device.
  • You can manage website cookies and advertising choices through browser, device, consent, and Google settings where available.
  • If you have submitted information to TechDecipher through the website, you may contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion, subject to legal and security exceptions.

Because AI Prompt Studio does not require an account, TechDecipher generally cannot identify or remotely delete locally stored app data.

7. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the services. No internet transmission, storage system, or mobile application can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid placing highly sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information in a prompt unless you understand how the AI service you later send it to will handle that information.

8. Children’s privacy

The website and app are not directed specifically to children under 13. If you are below the age required to consent to data processing in your location, use the services only with permission and guidance from a parent or guardian.

9. International processing

Service providers such as Google may process information on servers located in countries other than your own. Their safeguards and legal obligations are described in their own policies and terms.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, AI Prompt Studio, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top will be revised when material changes are published.

11. Contact

For privacy or support questions, email contact@techdecipher.com or use the TechDecipher contact page.
